Job summary

ibis London Heathrow Airport seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure to high standards. You will guide the maintenance team, plan rotas, and ensure safe, efficient operations while managing budgets and contractor relationships.

The role focuses on preventative maintenance, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance to support guest satisfaction and sustainability goals. A hands-on leader with strong technical acumen is preferred.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance leadership role.
Relevant qualification in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building systems and health & safety.
Experience managing maintenance teams and budgets.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and develop the maintenance team with coaching and performance management.
Plan rotas to cover all shifts and holidays.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance; manage contractors.
Drive sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives.
Maintain records, compliance, and safety documentation.
