Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Library Assistant to manage the day-to-day running of the Wigan branch of the Trust Library Service. You will staff library enquiry points, assist staff and students with research resources, and support Inter-Library Loan and document delivery across sites.

The role includes handling membership data, maintaining ICT and equipment, and delivering basic instruction on online reference tools.

Qualificações

• Experience handling library enquiries and ILL processes.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to support staff and students with information retrieval.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the first point of contact for library enquiries across Trust sites.
• Provide Inter-Library Loan and Document Delivery services with follow-up on non-routine requests.
• Maintain statistics for library requests and user activity.
• Oversee stock circulation, recalls and overdue notices.
• Support basic instruction on online reference resources and databases.
