Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Senior Homeless Early Intervention Officer to join our Property and Support Service. You will support households facing housing difficulties and those at risk of homelessness, working in a fast-paced environment to prevent tenancy failures.

You will bring advanced knowledge in welfare benefits, personal finances, and rent arrears, along with supervisory experience and strong multi-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in welfare benefits, personal finances and rent arrears.
• Proven supervisory experience in a housing/support context.
• Strong multi-agency collaboration and customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Support households facing housing difficulties and at risk of homelessness.
• Assist and supervise Homeless Early Intervention Officers in preventing tenancy failure.
• Coordinate with partner agencies to prevent homelessness and tenancy issues.
