Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for an experienced project manager to lead underground drainage rehabilitation and repair projects on a UK-wide basis. The role is home-based with required attendance at group offices and client sites as needed, and overnight stays may be necessary depending on location and workload.

You will manage projects from enquiry to close-out, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to client specifications, while maintaining health and safety standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience within the drainage or utilities sector.
• Proven track record of developing projects from enquiry through to successful completion, delivering to time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop client requests, survey findings and technical recommendations into commercially viable and profitable project works.
• Manage drainage rehabilitation and repair projects from enquiry through mobilisation, delivery and close-out.
• Deliver projects in line with programme, budget, quality standards and client expectations.
• Support larger and longer-duration projects under the direction of the Project Management team to enable greater capacity.
• Attend site surveys, client meetings and project review meetings to establish scope and secure opportunities.
• Work with the projects and operations teams to translate technical findings into practical delivery plans.
• Take day-to-day responsibility for project Health & Safety delivery and RAMS compliance.
• Prepare and review RAMS, programmes, resource requirements and delivery plans.
• Manage direct labour and subcontractor delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Monitor project performance, costs and commercial accountability and communicate progress to clients.
