Job summary

McLarens is seeking a talented CAR/EAR/Construction Liability Adjuster for its Construction & Engineering team. The role is home-based with weekly London City office meetings and travel as required, covering UK and occasional international losses.

You will oversee investigations, settlement, and reporting, while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified in CAR/EAR/Construction Liability or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead a team.
• Experience handling construction-related insurance claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle construction and liability claims.
• Liaise with insured, insurers and brokers to reach timely conclusions.
• Conduct on-site investigations and damage surveys.
• Produce reports in line with standards and internal guidelines.
• Contribute to business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Travel occasionally and attend London City office meetings weekly.
