Job summary

McLarens in London-based region is seeking a Loss Adjuster to join our Construction & Engineering team. You will handle major losses across CAR/EAR/Construction Liability, with on-site surveys and client liaison, while traveling to the London City office a couple times a week.

The role requires relevant construction/engineering or law qualifications and ACII/MRICS/ACILA where possible. Home-based with periodic travel, closing date 25 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Construction, engineering or law qualification and/or ACII, MRICS or ACILA.
• Experience handling construction claims losses.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims in a professional manner.
• Liaising with insured, other interested parties, insurers and brokers to achieve timely conclusion of claims.
• Completing on-site investigations and damage surveys for claims.
• Producing reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines.
