Job summary

McLarens seeks a talented CAR/EAR/Construction Liability Adjuster to join its Construction & Engineering team. The role is home-based with travel across the UK, including regular meetings at the London City office.

You will handle a broad portfolio from investigation to settlement, contributing to the learning and development of more junior members and supporting business development across the practice.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified or significant experience in CAR/EAR/Construction Liability loss adjusting.
• Proven track record in handling construction-related insurance claims.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing as a senior team member.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate and settle claims in a professional manner.
• Liaise with insured, brokers and other parties to conclude claims timely.
• Perform on-site investigations and damage surveys for claims.
• Produce reports in line with standards and internal guidelines within set timescales.
• Contribute to McLarens’ business development and growth.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion.
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required.
