Job summary

McLarens is seeking a Loss Adjuster for its Construction & Engineering team, ideally based in London/Home Counties. The role covers UK claims with potential involvement in international construction losses, from investigation to settlement.

You will handle major losses across CAR/EAR/Construction Liability, working with insureds, brokers, and clients, and travel to the London City office weekly.

Qualifications

• Construction, engineering or law qualification and/or professional designations ACII/MRICS/ACILA.
• Experience in construction claims loss adjusting.
• Ability to work autonomously and travel to the London City office as required.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims in a professional manner.
• Liaising with insured, other interested parties, insurers and brokers to achieve timely conclusion of claims.
• Completing on-site investigations and damage surveys for claims.
• Producing reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines.
