Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Learning Support Assistant to join our partner secondary schools in Middlesbrough. You will provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, deliver literacy and numeracy interventions, and work with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to promote inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to apply.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Adapt and support classroom activities to enable access to learning.
• Monitor, assess and record pupil progress and wellbeing, with feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other services to implement EHCP targets.
• Support pupils during transitions between educational settings.
