Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking experienced HLTAs to work across primary schools in Leeds. Roles include covering classes during PPA or teacher absence and delivering small-group interventions to support learning.

Successful candidates will have HLTA experience or strong TA background, with a qualifying HLTA credential preferred, and must be willing to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding processes.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience or strong TA background with leadership capabilities.
• HLTA qualification desirable; relevant school-based experience considered.
• DBS checks and safeguarding policy are required for all applicants.

Responsibilities

• Covering classes during PPA or teacher absence.
• Delivering small-group interventions.
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Working alongside teachers and SEND staff.
• Supporting with literacy and numeracy.
• Helping pupils stay engaged and on track with their learning.
