Job summary

Qualifications

• FRCPath or equivalent qualification required.
• Full GMC registration with licence to practise or within 6 months of CCT; Specialist register via CESR/JRCPath Portfolio Pathway acceptable.
• Desirable: a research degree in Histopathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic reporting, including diagnosis, staging and prognosis, following RCPath guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance activities including national external quality assurance programmes.
• Take part in annual appraisal and job planning.

Education

FRCPath or equivalent

Full GMC registration with licence to practice or within 6 months of CCT. Portfolio Pathway (CESR) applicants must be on the specialist register
