Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking up to two whole-time equivalent Locum Consultant Histopathologists on a fixed-term 11-month basis, with posts split between Gynae and Dermatopathology, primarily based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.

The Post embraces digital reporting and welcomes digitally trained pathologists; applications from a wide range of experience are encouraged, and flexible arrangements for full-time work can be discussed with the Trust.

Qualifications

• Locum Consultant Histopathologists are sought for two WTE posts.
• Post split: 1 WTE in Gynae, 1 WTE in Dermatopathology.
• Role includes Direct Clinical Care (DCC) work such as dissection, histology and cytology reporting.
• Posts based at Sheffield Royal Hallamshire Hospital with potential for digital reporting.

Responsibilities

• Dissection, histology and cytology reporting.
• MDT preparation and delivery.
• Contribute to digital reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate within subspecialist teams.
