The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Histopathology to join our Cellular Pathology team. We are six months into a digital pathology transformation that enables hybrid working, with access to a private office and our UKAS-accredited laboratories onsite.

The role supports subspecialty interests, collaborates across a wide Devon network, and offers a quality of life in Devon with coastlines and national parks nearby.

Responsibilities

• Consultants within the department typically work within two to three different subspecialty teams, with flexibility to develop expertise in dermatopathology and/or GI pathology.
• There is a culture of openness with an open-door policy, private office space for consultants and home-working equipment.
• Contribute to the digital pathology program and participate in second phase validation underway.
