Job summary

Mirai Bio seeks a Senior Research Associate, Histology contractor to join the Platform Group and support laboratory research toward next-generation genomic medicines. Qualifications

• BS/MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Prior experience with histology evaluation and in vitro cell-based assays is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory assays and tasks including processing tissues for histology, plate-based reporter assays and additional in vitro assays.
• Review data slides to streamline optimization and data analysis of immune histochemistry and immunofluorescence readouts.
• Help manage external vendors and CRO in support of histology assays.
• Develop new assays or optimize existing ones based on in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques.
• Analyzing and accurately documenting assay results in an electronic lab notebook or other technical reporting formats.
