Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Highways Technical Lead to shape major transport programmes in the UK and beyond. You will act as the technical voice, guiding design, safety and performance across projects that millions rely on.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers, and work with clients such as National Highways and Transport Scotland to deliver high-quality infrastructure with a focus on digital engineering and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing engineering design activities within highways, transportation or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding of highways design and standards (DMRB or equivalent).
• Experience delivering projects in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery on highways schemes and major transport programmes.
