Job summary

Cardiff Council is seeking an experienced Team Leader for the s278/s38 Team to oversee the assessment, approval and delivery of highway works arising from new developments across the city. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the s278/s38 Team with effective coordination and delivery of works.
• Oversee the preparation, negotiation and progression of legal agreements and technical approvals.
• Manage inspections of highway works ensuring design and safety standards.
• Coordinate handover and adoption of completed highway infrastructure with accurate records.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure integrated scheme delivery.
• Provide technical advice and reports to senior management and Members.
• Contribute to policy development and annual review of highway standards.
