Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assessment of heavy vehicle statutory test applications for first tests and conversions, ensuring compliance.
• Assess ECWVTA vehicle approvals and provide technical support to processing teams.
• Respond to technical inquiries and act as an advisory service to operators, manufacturers and the public.
• Investigate solutions to mitigate risks and support DVSA initiatives and standards.
• Collaborate with policy teams on new regulations and improvements to guidance publications.
• Maintain clear, accurate communication with customers via the technical inbox.
• Support the Heavy Vehicle Processing Manager and represent DVSA at events.
• Maintain relevant databases.
