Qualifications

• Experience assessing heavy vehicle test applications and conversions.
• Knowledge of DVSA standards and ECWVTA processes.
• Ability to advise non-technical teams and front-line staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assessment of heavy vehicle statutory test applications for first tests and conversions, ensuring compliance.
• Assess approved vehicle applications via ECWVTA teams.
• Offer technical support and advisory services to processing teams, operators, manufacturers and the public.
• Investigate solutions to mitigate risks and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Policy Team on new initiatives and regulatory changes.
• Communicate clearly with internal/external customers via the technical inbox.
• Support the Heavy Vehicle Processing Manager at trade events and other duties.
• Maintain relevant databases as required.
