Start ASAP – with potential for a permanent role

Are you an experienced recruiter ready to make a meaningful difference?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where agility, collaboration, and initiative are key?

Join Hft, one of the UK’s leading charities supporting learning disabled adults. We’re on an exciting journey of transformation – and we’re looking for a Senior Recruiter to help lead the way.

The Role

As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll drive end-to-end recruitment across head office and operational teams — focusing on high-impact roles in care management, central services, and leadership.

You Will:

  • Lead recruitment campaigns, assessment days, and interview processes.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to hiring managers and colleagues.
  • Be a key player in shaping the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making by analysing and reporting on recruitment metrics.
  • Promote Hft’s employer brand across a variety of platforms and networks.

About You:

You’re a confident, proactive recruiter who:

  • Has significant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within social care or healthcare.
  • Experience recruiting for both head office and operational roles.
  • Is a strong team player who thrives on collaboration and shared success.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to partner with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and confident navigating complex and changing environments.
  • Brings a strong understanding of recruitment best practice, employment law, and compliance.
  • Has exceptional communication skills and a track record of delivering great candidate experiences.
  • Expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Can work autonomously, make informed decisions, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car to visit Hft services
  • Is available to join at short notice.

What’s in it for You?

  • Flexibility: Fully remote working, with occasional travel to the Bristol office
  • Impact: Directly shape the success of our head office and operational functions by sourcing top talent.
  • Opportunity: Long term, there is the opportunity for the successful individual to join the team on a permanent basis.
  • Visionary: Be part of a forward-thinking organisation that empowers people with learning disabilities to live their best lives.

We Offer:

  • Telus Health – the world’s biggest 24/7 colleague counselling and support service.
  • Access to a range of discounts on your favourite brands through Telus Health.
  • Wagestream - allows colleagues to flexibly access their pay throughout the month and utilise a range of financial support, through its dedicated app.
  • Access to wellbeing services including Health checks, Digital GP and mental health support via Aviva Digicare + Workplace.
  • Access to award winning training and development – Hft is one of only four charities to have achieved the Skills for Care ‘Centre of Excellence’ provider status.
  • 33 days holidays (including 8 bank holidays).
  • A contributory pension scheme & life assurance.
