Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Four years of healthcare business office knowledge including registration, scheduling, medical records and insurance, plus advanced medical terminology.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, peers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in orientation and training to increase competency.
• Serve as initial contact for problem resolution of customer needs.
• Create, implement and manage clinic scheduling templates to improve patient access.
• Communicate with providers, leadership and staff to promote collaboration.
• Answer calls and provide information by accessing directories to resolve callers' needs.
