Job summary

Castle Environmental in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Technical Assessor to join our Technical Sales team. You will lead complex waste assessments, provide high-level technical support and help develop the capability of our assessment team.

You will mentor junior assessors, promote best practice and collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver compliant, practical waste treatment solutions. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hazardous waste assessment.
• In-depth understanding of waste treatment and disposal routes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessment and classification of complex waste enquiries.
• Provide high-level technical guidance to colleagues.
• Support consistent, compliant assessment decisions across the team.
• Mentor junior Assessors and promote best practices.
