WasteRecruit Ltd is seeking a Technical Waste Assessor for a site-based role at Grays, Essex. You will work with the Technical, Customer Services and Sales teams to price enquiries, determine disposal options, and prepare customer quotations in compliance with current regulations.

The role requires experience in Hazardous Waste Management and knowledge of waste outlets and ADR. Excellent organisation, numeracy and communication skills are essential to succeed at this station.

Our client, a leading provider of hazardous waste management services, is looking to recruit a Technical Assessor to be based at their Hazardous Waste Transfer Station in Grays, Essex.

Working with the Technical department you will liaise with the Customer Services and Sales teams to price new enquiries, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials, to determine disposal options, customer quotations and compliance requirements.

This role will require experience in Hazardous Waste Management and a knowledge of waste outlets to ensure compliance with current legislation.

Essential Requirements:

• Chemistry knowledge
• Knowledge of waste related waste legislation including Hazardous Waste Regulations, Environmental Permitting, and an understanding of ADR
• Understand how to classify hazardous waste for disposal and transport
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Numerate with an understanding of business costing

This is a permanent, full-time, site-based role. Work hours are 8am - 5pm, Mon to Fri.
