Senior Hardware Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join an innovative photonics company based in Surrey, specialising in advanced optical and photonic technologies. The company is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions in detection and communication, making significant contributions to industries such as defence, security, and commercial applications.

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing hardware solutions for high-performance optical systems. This includes analog and digital circuit design, PCB development, and signal processing for photonic devices. You’ll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate optical technologies with electronic systems, driving projects from concept through to production. This role also involves solving complex technical challenges and contributing to system-level innovation in the photonics domain.

The ideal Senior Hardware Engineer will have:
