Job summary

JAM in Broad Oak, United Kingdom is recruiting an Electronics Design Engineer to join a leading defence organisation. The role is hybrid with 4 days on site in Broad Oak and requires strong teamwork, communication and project coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of product safety and environmental requirements.
• Ability to generate design, test and installation documentation.

Currently recruiting for a Electronics Design Engineer to work within one of the Uk's leading defence organisations in Broad Oak - Hybrid 4 days per week on site.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of LCM & the Engineering Lifecycle
• Knowledge and experience in COTS hardware, preferably with blade and PC technology. Experience with COTS cabinets, cabinet design, wiring schedules and power distribution.
• Knowledge of the requirements for Product Safety & Environmental matters as captured in the appropriate Project Plans.
• Generation of design, test and installation documentation
• Understanding of Configuration Control and baselines
• Knowledge in several of the following areas:
• o Dell and Juniper
• o Electrical Engineering
• o Hardware acceptance process

Skills:

• An excellent team player with strong communication skills, focused to work independently with minimal supervision and adaptability to quickly learn on the job.
• Ability to manage complex issues for multiple concurrent projects balancing the needs and priorities of each project against the others
