Job summary

Ralliant Corporation in East Kilbride, Scotland, is seeking a Hardware Architect (Hardware Staff Engineer) to own the system and hardware architecture for advanced embedded monitoring and industrial instrumentation products, coordinating with Firmware, Software, and Systems teams from concept through deployment.

You will lead architecture reviews, manage risks, mentor engineers, and ensure architectures are scalable, reliable, and compliant with regulatory and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing embedded hardware products, with significant experience leading complex technical projects.
• Proven experience defining and delivering system architectures for embedded products from concept through production and lifecycle support.
• Strong understanding of mixed-signal electronics, embedded processors, communications interfaces, networking technologies, and industrial instrumentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical decision-making across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the system and hardware architecture for embedded monitoring and industrial instrumentation products.
• Define system-level requirements, architectures, interfaces, and technical strategies aligned to objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews, design reviews, and governance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Partner with Firmware and Software Architects to align roadmaps and performance objectives.
