Job summary

Ralliant seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead complex electromechanical product enclosures for mission-critical applications in Glasgow. You will own mechanical design from concept through release, perform thermal and structural analyses, and ensure manufacturability and reliability across lifecycle stages.

The role requires hands-on experience with CAD, GD&T, and simulation tools, plus strong collaboration with electrical, firmware, and quality teams to drive robust product solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Proven experience in designing electromechanical assemblies and enclosures.
• Strong CAD and simulation skills with a focus on manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of complex electromechanical products and enclosures.
• Perform thermal, structural, and modal analyses to validate designs.
• Own BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation through lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Firmware, Software, and Manufacturing teams.
• Drive root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
