South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Specialist Hand Therapist to join our dedicated hand therapy team. Based mainly at The James Cook University Hospital, you will also run clinics at Redcar and Northallerton, co-managing a Band 6 Hand Therapists team and collaborating with Hand Consultants and other MDT members.

The role focuses on advanced hand therapy within an MSK context, along with leadership duties and commitment to CPD through training, audits and research

Qualifications

• BSc in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• BAHT level 3 accreditation and/or MSc in appropriate subject.
• Evidence of CPD portfolio including attendance of recent post-graduate course relevant to hand therapy.

Responsabilités

• Co-manage a team of Band 6 Hand Therapists and a Therapy Assistant.
• Work closely with Hand Consultants (Plastics and Orthopaedics) and MDT.
• Clinical role with leadership and management responsibilities.
• Pursue post-graduate study and development through CPD and Leadership Programmes.
