Job summary

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Specialist Hand Therapist (Band 7) to deliver expert, autonomous care for a diverse hand therapy caseload in Yeovil District Hospital.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to service development, and engage in education, audit and research, with a view to advancing practice and improving patient outcomes in a supported setting.

Qualifications

• Current UK professional registration is required.
• Band 7 level under Agenda for Change pay scale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality hand therapy within a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess, diagnose and support individuals with complex hand conditions.
• Co-ordinate patient care with surgical and therapy colleagues to ensure timely treatment pathways.
• Contribute to service development, education, audit and research.
• Support development of others through teaching and supervision.
