Job summary

The Surelock McGill Group is seeking a senior Group Health & Safety Manager to lead the H&S strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. You will maintain RAMS, policies, and procedures, while ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards.

Delivering clear leadership, you will drive a proactive safety culture, manage audits and investigations, and work closely with directors and regulators to uphold accreditations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Health & Safety management across multi-site manufacturing.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is essential; chartered IOSH membership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK safety legislation and ISO 45001/14001 standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proactive leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Group Health & Safety strategy across all sites.
• Maintain H&S systems ensuring compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards.
• Manage RAMS, safety policies, and site procedures.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Drive a positive safety culture and maintain accreditations; liaise with regulators.
