Job summary

HSE Recruitment in West Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Manager for a permanent, hybrid role, supporting the Group Head of HSE across six UK sites with travel several days per week. You will own companywide initiatives, including behavioural change programmes, and provide strategic guidance while embedding projects end-to-end.

This hands-on central function role has no direct reports but requires strong influencing skills and experience in multi-site environments; a Diploma level

Qualifications

• Multisite experience in a HSE Manager role or above.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end projects and driving behavioural change.
• Experience in high-risk sectors such as energy, waste or manufacturing is desirable.
• Diploma level qualification in Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the Group Head of HSE across six UK sites and travel several days weekly.
• Own companywide initiatives including behavioural change programmes and share best practice.
• Embed projects from end to end and articulate progress to the board.
