Trinity House Group have been exclusively retained by a fast-growing, highly acquisitive business headquartered in Birmingham to appoint a Senior Group Reporting Manager. This is a key hire within their group finance function offering both technical leadership and significant exposure to board-level initiatives.

This role will suit someone technically strong, commercially aware, and looking to make an impact in a business that values continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborative thinking.

The Opportunity

This is a newly elevated role with clear responsibility for leading all aspects of consolidated group reporting, while playing a key part in shaping financial governance, policy development, and reporting automation across the group.

You will have strong visibility across the C-suite, contribute to internal and external reporting strategy, and act as a trusted expert on accounting and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the delivery of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements
• Lead on new accounting standards and policy adoption across global entities
• Continuously improve reporting systems, controls, and consolidation tools
• Develop board, investor and lender-facing reporting materials
• Support complex technical areas such as impairments, share-based payments, and FX
• Input into group structure reviews, accounting for acquisitions technical processes
• Collaborate on system upgrades and group reporting tool enhancements
• Contribute to refinancing projects, treasury reporting and covenant forecasting
• Provide analysis and insight on performance drivers and trends for leadership

Candidate Profile:

We’re seeking an ACA (or equivalent) qualified accountant, trained in a Top 10 firm, with strong technical knowledge and post-qualified experience gained in a large, multi-entity group or listed business.

• Proven experience in group reporting and consolidations
• A deep understanding of financial controls, compliance and audit readiness
• A proactive mindset, able to manage competing deadlines and work across functions
• Confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders and articulate technical matters clearly
