Job summary

Distinct is partnering with a large, successful business based in Leeds, with a global footprint, to recruit a Senior Group Financial Accountant to join its growing group finance team.

The role is suited to a technically strong chartered accountant, ideally from a practice background, who will gain exposure to international group reporting, consolidation, and large-scale projects within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Experience in large, complex international organisations desirable.
• Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivering group reporting, including preparing annual statutory and group accounts.
• Consolidating P&L and cashflows.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory group consolidations.
• Reviewing integrity of balance sheet in line with group policies.
• Contributing to delivery of the year-end audit.
• Driving process improvement and supporting group finance projects.
