Job summary

UKG is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel, Privacy to act as a strategic advisor on global data protection and AI governance. You will report to the privacy program lead and collaborate with legal, product, security, and engineering teams across EMEA and beyond to enable compliant growth.

You will apply GDPR, UK GDPR, and U.S. privacy laws, oversee DPIAs and risk assessments, and guide data transfers, vendor agreements, and governance initiatives with pragmatism and business sense.

Qualifications

• DPIAs/TIAs/LIAs and privacy risk assessments experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic privacy advisor to legal, business, product, security, and technical teams across EMEA and globally.
• Interpret and apply GDPR, UK GDPR, U.S. privacy laws, and data transfer requirements.
• Provide guidance on lawful bases, transparency, data minimization, retention, rights, consent, and data sharing.
• Support privacy aspects of regulatory inquiries, audits, mergers and acquisitions, and new market entries.
• Advise on privacy provisions in customer, vendor, and outsourcing agreements.
