Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for Data Protection & Privacy. You will advise on UK GDPR, EU GDPR, ePrivacy, and AI privacy issues, translating complex requirements into practical guidance while supporting scalable governance across Sky.

You will collaborate with Legal, Data Protection Operations, Cyber, Technology, Sky Data and Commercial teams to enable compliant, responsible data use that drives innovation and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience advising on UK GDPR and EU GDPR
• Experience applying privacy by design in data-driven projects
• Experience with AI privacy issues and regulatory readiness

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice on GDPR, ePrivacy and AI privacy issues
• Lead or support on high-risk and strategic matters including product and regulatory issues
• Advise on DPIAs, data sharing, international transfers and data processing
• Support governance of data privacy framework and incident response
