Partners Group is seeking a (Senior) Legal Counsel, Data Privacy & Technology to join its Corporate Legal team in London. You will act as a strategic adviser on data privacy, AI and technology law, driving GDPR compliance and privacy risk management across global operations with a focus on Europe.

You will draft and negotiate MSAs, DPAs, and TIAs, build privacy governance, manage data breaches, and provide privacy training to enable a privacy‑by‑design culture within the firm.

Qualifications

• Law degree and bar admission are required.
• 4–10 years of relevant experience in private practice or in-house.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and privacy risk management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and technology law for stakeholders.
• Oversee GDPR compliance programs and privacy risk management.
• Draft and negotiate tech, data, and HR contracts including DPAs and TIAs.
• Develop governance frameworks, policies, and templates for privacy.
• Respond to data breaches and subject access requests with cross‑functional teams.
• Deliver privacy training and promote privacy‑by‑design culture.
• Lead global privacy initiatives and liaise with regulators when needed.
• Manage external counsel and interactions with authorities.
