Job summary

Expedia Group's Global Crisis Operations team seeks a seasoned Crisis Operations Manager to lead a globally distributed team across Seattle, London, and Gurgaon. You will own capacity planning, escalation, governance, and post-event debriefs, driving performance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, Public Administration, International Relations, Security Studies, Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Geography or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in crisis operations or emergency management.

Responsibilities

• Own the global coverage model and capacity planning across pods and time zones.
• Lead crisis response governance, post-event debriefs, and performance storytelling for leadership.
• Champion AI-assisted monitoring, summarization, and decision support within crisis operations.
• Mentor analysts, develop ramp plans, and manage 1:1s and performance reviews.
