Job summary

The role collaborates with Legal, Communications, and partner relations, maintains incident logs in ServiceNow, and supports proactive messaging to travelers while contributing to governance and playbooks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in operational meteorology, geopolitical risk analysis, security operations, emergency management or crisis response.
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly in writing and verbally to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in a 24/7 operations environment with time-sensitive decision-making.
• Proficiency with SQL, dashboards, and translating metrics into actionable recommendations.
• Active use of AI tools for monitoring, summarization, and workflow acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global threat intelligence, meteorological data, and risk sources to identify events in real time.
• Assess severity, traveler impact, and escalation thresholds; provide concise leadership updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional war rooms and oversee traveler communications and policy adjustments.
• Develop and deploy in-app and email messaging; ensure governance and timely action.
• Maintain crisis logs, performance narratives, and post-event reviews for continuous improvement.
• Query data to quantify traveler exposure, products held, and remediation options using SQL.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate monitoring, drafting, and escalation decisions.
