Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to deliver high-quality legal advice on commercial, procurement, and transactional matters across Ocado Group in the UK and internationally. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders up to the Executive Director level.

You will manage complex drafting and negotiations for technology, software, data protection, and IP contracts, while aligning with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with specialization in commercial contracts and technology transactions.
• Experience advising on domestic and cross-border commercial matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory capabilities across tech procurement, licensing and IT agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and provide expert advice on commercial contracts including technology and software.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Counsel on data protection, IP, competition and regulatory issues in contracts.
