Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in the United Kingdom (Birmingham) to lead geotechnical design, ground investigations, and reporting on major infrastructure projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, sustainable solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements.

You will check technical deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and engage with clients to advocate quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• BEng in Civil Engineering with geotechnical bias or related degree.
• MSc/MEng in Geotechnical Engineering or similar.
• Chartered Engineer status or imminent Professional Review.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Independently drive routine and non-routine projects with technical guidance.
• Management of resources in single or multiple project deliveries.
• Participate in resolving technical issues and ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure overall design quality.
• Provide technical input and support to project teams and champion quality.
• Ensure deliverables (drawings, reports, specs) meet project requirements.
• Gain experience in commercial aspects of projects and client liaison.
• Travel willingness to UK to support projects.
