The Mott MacDonald Water Consultancy Division in the UK is seeking a driven Senior Associate Engineer to lead geotechnical initiatives across the UK and overseas. You will shape ground engineering strategies and drive risk management with smart, sustainable solutions.

As a Chartered professional, you will mentor teams, lead bids, and collaborate with account leaders to deliver technically excellent projects for water and wastewater clients while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology.
• Chartered with a relevant professional institution.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent client relationship management.
• Ability to check and review work of others to provide quality assurance and drive continuous improvement in work delivered to the client.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and bids, providing expert guidance to support project delivery.
• Set direction of ground engineering initiatives in the UK and overseas.
• Prepare thought leadership articles and present papers at industry conferences.
• Mentor and develop others, supporting their professional development.
• Promote a vibrant health and safety culture and continuous improvement in project delivery.
