Job summary

NextEnergy Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead geospatial analytics within the Data & AI team, mentoring junior analysts and delivering insights across ESG, climate, and investment portfolios in the UK and internationally. You will design robust spatial datasets, manage web GIS apps, automate processes, and ensure GDPR/compliance while collaborating with ESG and wider stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Geography, GIS or related field.
4–6 years of data analytics experience with geospatial data.
Experience designing dashboards with PowerBI and ThoughtSpot is desirable.
Experience with geospatial data management and data governance.

Responsibilities

Lead spatial and environmental analysis across ESG topics, integrating various datasets to provide actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Design, build and maintain dashboards, web applications and cartographic outputs with ArcGIS Online and ESRI tools.
Mentor junior analysts and promote data quality, governance and reproducible workflows.
Own and manage spatial and ESG-related datasets ensuring data quality, integrity and GDPR compliance.
Identify opportunities to automate analytics and reporting processes for efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the group to deliver practical GIS solutions.
