Job summary

So Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join the data analytics team in Chiswick, London. You will leverage advanced SQL to extract, clean, and analyse complex datasets, delivering actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.

You will lead data-driven projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and design curated Data Warehouse tables for the Data Engineering team, plus develop impactful visuals for stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst with advanced SQL.
• Experience delivering analytical insights to the business.
• Data Warehouse design experience.
• Proficiency in Looker and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Line manage 2 direct reports (mid/junior Analysts) with guidance from Data Team Lead.
• Utilize advanced SQL to extract, clean, and analyse complex datasets.
• Lead data-driven projects from objectives and methodologies to presenting findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and drive data-driven decisions.
• Design and document curated Data Warehouse tables for the Data Engineering team.
• Define metrics for business monitoring and create clear data visualizations for stakeholders.
