Job summary

UPP is seeking an ESG Analyst to join the Energy & ESG team in London. You will drive accuracy of ESG data, support external reporting and contribute to sustainability initiatives across a national property portfolio.

The role offers hybrid working in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to influence data-led decisions and environmental management improvements for student living and university partnerships.

Qualifications

Experience collecting, analysing, validating and reporting data in a professional environment.
Experience supporting external ESG or sustainability disclosures (GRESB/SECR/GRI or equivalent).
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present to different audiences.
Strong stakeholder management skills and collaborative across teams.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate and maintain ESG data across environmental, social and governance themes for internal and external reporting.
Support preparation and submission of ESG disclosures (GRESB, SECR, GRI).
Produce regular reporting on utilities, carbon and ESG performance, identify trends and opportunities.
Contribute to Sustainability Report, investor ESG reporting and updates.
Support ISO14001 Environmental Management System and audits.
Monitor utility consumption data and investigate anomalies; support data automation projects.
Build dashboards and reporting tools to improve data quality and insight.
