Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join a fully remote team supporting energy-sector operations across international locations. You will develop dashboards, perform deep-dive analyses, and present actionable insights to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in data analysis, strong SQL and Python/R skills, and experience with Tableau, Power BI or Looker. Remote work flexibility and professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on energy industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis programming language (Python or R).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets related to the energy sector.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to support forecasting and optimization.
• Communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
