Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Experienced Senior Project Manager for a Genomics-focused programme. You will drive a complex portfolio of digital projects, deliver governance, and liaise with senior stakeholders within the NHS ecosystem.

The role requires a strong track record in healthcare project delivery and Prince2 techniques. You will lead teams, manage budgets, timelines and risks while developing staff through peer reviews and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Theoretical Knowledge of Project Management Techniques.
• Theoretical Knowledge of Change Management Techniques.
• Advanced and proven programme management experience.
• Excellent Report writing and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Practical experience applying Prince2 techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and delivery of a programme of digital projects to support Genomics.
• Provide governance and formal reports to Senior Responsible Officers and boards.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards; liaise with stakeholders.
• Lead planning, reporting, risk management and milestone tracking for the programme.
• Collaborate with other PMs and workstream leads; travel to various sites as needed.
