Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Genomics) to lead strategic clinical initiatives, including a genomics portfolio, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

You will work in a matrix structure, develop team capabilities, and apply PRINCE2 standards. The role requires travel to Trust sites and strong stakeholder engagement.

Experience in healthcare and genomics projects is preferred; degree-level qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience delivering complex projects, ideally in healthcare.
• Experience in Genomics projects is highly desirable.
• PRINCE2 practitioner level.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of strategic Genomics programmes.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Report progress, risks and issues to project/programme boards.
• Coordinate training and change management for project teams.
