Job summary

Flowserve Corporation, a world-leading flow control solutions provider, seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to deliver and upgrade gas turbine control systems. You will lead tender input, design, programming, testing, and commissioning across projects, ensuring quality, cost control and on-time delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership, customer liaison, and ongoing technical excellence within the Controls Engineering function.

Qualifications

Degree-level education in Electrical, Electronic, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years’ experience with PLC-based control systems, preferably across multiple platforms.
Proven experience with gas turbine control and fuel systems (essential).
Commissioning and site installation experience essential.
Offshore Safety Survival Certificate desirable (training provided).

Responsibilities

Review customer tender invitations and provide input to tender submissions and technical clarifications.
Provide technical leadership for detailed control system design, PLC programming, and hardware manufacture.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders for successful project delivery.
Define FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) procedures with internal and external suppliers.
Support installation, commissioning activities and post-sales controls troubleshooting.
Contribute to continuous improvement of controls philosophy and standards.
