Job summary

Siemens Energy Gas and Power Services in Lincoln is seeking an engineer to design and develop control and electrical systems for the modernisation of Small Gas Turbines. You will take technical ownership of engineering activities across the project lifecycle and work with the SGT Senior Specialist Fire and Explosion Protection engineer.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in control systems, electrical, instrumentation or software.
• Strong ownership, communication, and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of electrical and controls engineering activities across projects.
• Develop and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for turbine modifications.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements; address obsolescence issues.
• Support technical discussions with customers and stakeholders during manufacturing, installation and testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation and lessons-learned within the team.
