Job summary

Siemens Energy Gas Services in Lincoln seeks an accomplished engineer to own electrical/controls design for modernisation of Small Gas Turbines. You will guide engineering activities across projects, aligning with the Senior Specialist Fire and Explosion Protection engineer and customers to meet standards and delivery goals.

You will develop schematics, address obsolescence, and support manufacturing, installation and testing while driving continuous improvement and technical leadership across

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline related to control systems, electrical, instrumentation, or software.
• Strong ownership and ability to lead multiple engineering activities.
• Structured problem-solving approach with technical guidance abilities.
• Familiar with change/configuration management tools and project software.
• Gas turbine experience or similar industrial products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct electrical and controls engineering support for projects.
• Develop and review electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for turbine upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with standards and address obsolescence across the fleet.
• Support discussions with customers and stakeholders during manufacturing, installation and testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, standardisation, and lessons learned.
