Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a commercially minded Project Manager to lead international gas turbine projects from contract award through to completion, working with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Customer teams. You will drive profitability, manage scope, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation and relationship-building with senior stakeholders across global sites. Aberdeen-based with a focus on gas turbine services and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in gas turbine/industrial services
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of profitable projects
• Understanding of rotating equipment overhaul/maintenance/service environments
• Ability to manage customer relationships with senior stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of international gas turbine and rotating equipment service projects
• Own project profitability, financial performance and contractual obligations
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Identify opportunities for additional business, upgrades and service offerings
• Drive effective collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement and Field Service teams
• Monitor project progress, schedules, risks and resource requirements
• Manage commercial negotiations, scope changes and variation orders
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with customer expectations, quality standards and HSE requirements
• Provide regular project updates and financial forecasts to stakeholders
• Support business growth through proactive, customer-focused approach
